Hello! And welcome to my little corner of the internet.
My name is Samantha and I am the owner and lead photographer behind Saje Photography. That's pronounced sฤj or 'sage' like the herb. Fun fact: I had the toughest time choosing a name for my business so I decided to go the cheesy route and name if after everyone in my little family (i.e.: Samantha, Auriella, Joel + Eddie). I'm a fine art, with an editorial flare, photographer based in California + Arizona. I have two beautiful children and an amazing husband with whom I plan to travel this entire world. Before I picked up a camera, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Talk about a career change, am I right?
I am so inspired by couples who are romantic, creative, daring and adventurous. Photography has become such an essential part of my life and the connections I have made are of the utmost importance to me. I look for small details, deep shadows, sharp sunlight and aim to capture emotion. I strive to create images that are organically beautiful and I adore simplicity.
